Inspired by the zen quote, "wherever you go, there you are",
my motto is "I am always sightseeing." These paintings are part of an art exhibit of thirty of my paintings of "Where I've been."
I draw and paint wherever I go .

Using a Brush Pen I sketched the dogs playing at a dog park on the SF Bay. I like how the dogs all get along no matter their size or breed. And I like how easily entertained they are. Watching dogs play is like watching a choreographed dance performance.
The Beach, the chairs, the Mediterranean Sea and Sky.
The color of the Mediterranean Sea against the sky takes your breath away. The canvas umbrellas add a patchwork of color to the beach, and the bathers, clearly European.
One of many open air gift shops in Sevilla (Seville). The red flamenco dresses for a child, the guitars, the candies, the postcards, the fans, the pottery and many more goods for sale to the tourists. Fascinating to me.
I still feel at home when I visit NYC. Central Park is a work of art in itself, the crown jewel in the center of a great city.
I rambled through Central Park during the hot days and stumbled into this forest of old, stately trees. The grounds were perfectly raked and groomed.
Everyone has a "spot". This is my spot, in Tilden Park, near Berkeley, CA. I come here often to draw and paint, on a warm day.
The Redwood Trees of California are stunning. This is a young tree, still magnificient.
This is a bouquet of flowers in a folk art/ceramic pitcher I purchased in Sevilla. The flowers are from my summer garden, in Berkeley, CA.
